AccuScore is a sports simulation company that plays each game over 10,000 times and provides the results of those simulations to consumers, business, TV, and other outlets to use as needed. Each sport simulation has been carefully programmed to be as realistic as possible as play calling and game play changes depending on a variety of factors. We use over 110 different variables to identify, weight, and rank players, teams, and coaches to produce the most accurate sports simulation and predictions available today.
Board of Directors
Mark Nielsen has more than 15 years of board experience working with high tech companies and organizations. His 17 years as a CEO for 6 companies, both private and public, give him a unique hands-on background for the challenges faced by companies in all phases. Mark has raised over $20 million in capital, been involved in more than 6 acquisitions from both sides of the table, and overseen both startups and turnarounds. He has an almost 20 year background in the wireless industry, as well as software.
Mark has served at the board level with startups, closely-held private companies, a national trade association, and a small public company. He is currently the Chairman of ISD Corporation, a private software company, and Chairman/CEO of Wireless21. Mark has also served on the boards of the American Electronics Association, Avery Communications, Inc. (OTC BB:ATEX), Jazz Institute of Chicago, NetCaliph, Inc., Primal Solutions, Inc., and Subscriber Computing, Inc. He has also been active on advisory boards for a number of startup/early-stage technology companies.
Raised in Chicago, Mark received his Bachelors degree from Northwestern University. He currently is a Tech Coast Angel and a member of the Orange Coast Venture Group and Forum for Corporate Directors.
As Chief Executive Officer of Agility Studios, Mr. Ehrlich is responsible for day-to-day business operations including strategy, marketing initiatives, creative development and developing key industry partnerships. He also serves as Executive Producer on Agility’s properties including The LXD (Paramount), Ultradome (MSN) and The Tastemaker (MSN).As a media industry leader, Mr. Ehrlich brings more than a decade of top-tier television and Internet management experience to Agility.
Mr. Ehrlich is a proven innovator in the creation and distribution of digital video, who in the past six years has bought and sold more than $200 million in digital content. Throughout his career Mr. Ehrlich has fostered numerous high-level strategic deals with major media entities including CNN, MLB, WSJ.com, NBA, E! Entertainment, FOX Sports, Starz, PGA Tour and Playboy.
Before joining Agility, Mr. Ehrlich founded and served as the Managing Partner at Impulse Media, a Seattle-based digital business consulting company and Red Tie, Inc., a development company with offices in New York and Seattle. Through Impulse Media, he served as a consultant and advisor to senior management at Sony Pictures Digital Networks, Rivals.com, Infospace, Disney/ABC Digital Media Group, Navio Systems, DivX, iFilm (now part of MTV Networks, Inc.), Lightningcast (sold to AOL), Rhythm Networks, BBC, Weather Channel and Microsoft.
Prior to forming Impulse Media and Red Tie, Mr. Ehrlich served as Vice President of Media Acquisition and Distribution for RealNetworks (www.real.com). During his tenure, he developed key strategies, negotiated, implemented and managed product deals and relationships for the site’s GoldPass and SuperPass services and drove growth of its services to more than 1 million subscribers. Previously, Mr. Ehrlich was Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Rival Networks (www.rivals.com), where he oversaw all aspects of the business including advertising sales, e-commerce, content, business development, marketing, public relations and creative services.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ehrlich was the Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of News America Digital Publishing, where he was, responsible for all editorial, production, technology and product development for News Corporation's content-based digital publishing ventures, including FOX.com, FoxNews.com, tvguide.com and FoxSports.com.
Mr. Ehrlich received his master’s degree from The Graduate School of Political Management, now part of George Washington University and his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College.
16-years game veteran Barry Dorf currently holds the position of Director of 3rd Party Product Development for ngmoco:). Earlier in his tenure at ngmoco:), Barry produced the critically-acclaimed Adventure Bay social mobile game and ran development for the Mobage Developer portal.
Previously in his career, Barry co-founded social gaming network GameStrata after spending 12 years at Electronic Arts working on the Madden franchise and the Pogo platform.
When not delighting 3rd party developers, Barry enjoys winemaking on Treasure Island and finely tuning the Sabermetrics of his keeper fantasy baseball team, currently in its 20th season.
After a successful career in corporate finance, Victoria has spent over ten years as an independent consultant specializing in financial analysis and business management projects. Victoria manages due diligence, financial analysis, accounting, and client communications for private equity funds at Stonnington Group. In addition to her responsibilities at Stonnington, she managed finance, facilities, and information systems for a small corporate communications company for seven years. Victoria also spent three years as a consultant for Babystyle, an apparel retailer, where she managed store payroll analysis and completed projects including competitive research, real estate analysis, and cash flow planning.
Prior to starting her consulting business, Victoria managed budgeting and cost estimating for landscape design and construction firm Valley Crest, managed construction financing for a $1 billion capital program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and managed financial planning and analysis in the retail industry for both Kids Mart and Contempo Casuals. Victoria’s work at Contempo Casuals included strategic planning and analysis for all phases of the business cycle including planning and implementation for a new retail chain (Pastille), acquisition of a smaller chain to grow Pastille, and store closings and expense reductions as part of a restructuring program. Victoria started her career as a research analyst at William O’Neil and Company, publisher of Investor’s Business Daily newspaper.
Victoria has an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California, where she was on the Dean’s List and received a fellowship based on academic merit. Victoria also has a BA in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors and won the Lorne D. Cooke award for academic achievement in Economics. In 2012, Victoria completed the UCLA professional certificate program in Global Sustainability, a multidisciplinary program that explores sustainability issues and solutions at the local, national and international levels.In addition to her consulting work, Victoria serves on the Board of Community First Initiatives, a nonprofit supporting sustainable development in Cambodia, and is a volunteer in the animal behavior research program at the Los Angeles Zoo..
Jason is the co-founder of Kay2 Ventures, a private capital and strategic consulting firm located in Los Angeles, CA.
As part of his advisory and consulting responsibilities, Jason currently serves as Special Projects Consultant to Home Box Office, the premier pay television service in the United States, where he works in the business development group.
From 2000-2001, Mr. Kay worked with a small team of investment bankers in shaping the strategic direction and mergers and acquisition strategy for the Columbia House Company, a direct marketer of entertainment products with over $1 billion in sales. Mr. Kay and the team provided due diligence and mergers and acquisition support to the Blackstone Group, who led a team of investors to purchase Columbia House from its former co-owners Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group for over $450 Million.
In addition to advising game developers on business strategy, Mr. Kay has been active in the field of digital media, working with Scouron digital music projects, designing and developing music playback and broadcasting software for the Windows platform.
Prior to founding Kay2, Mr. Kay worked as a Producer and Business Development Executive for Activision, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) a publicly held publisher of entertainment software for the PC and next-generation console systems.
Mr. Kay holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Law Center, and a B.A magna cum laude with honors in English from Tulane University. He is a frequent Industry speaker at events including the Game Developers Conference, Rio de Janeiro Film and Multimedia Festival, and Mipcom.
